Before work begins

A Strong Start Matters

Your brief

We talk about what you want to achieve, how you use your home, your priorities and the budget you have in mind.

Drawings & specification

We review your available plans and discuss the design information, structural input or approvals that may be needed.

Scope & quotation

We discuss the proposed work and specification so the quotation relates to your project and any exclusions can be understood.

During the build

People, Materials
and Details.

Building brings together many different trades. Oakleaf coordinates the sequence of work, deliveries and site activity around your project.

We keep you informed about progress and discuss decisions as they arise. If the scope changes, the implications for cost and programme should be agreed before the additional work goes ahead.

Practical matters such as access, working arrangements and disruption are part of the conversation before construction starts.

Your questions, answered

Before You Build

What should I include in my first enquiry?

Your postcode, the type of project, a short description of the work and whether you have drawings. A rough idea of budget and timing is also useful.

Can I contact you before I have plans?

Yes. We can discuss your ideas and the next steps. Design, planning and structural advice may be needed before the construction scope can be fully defined.

Will you explain the programme before work starts?

Yes. We discuss a programme appropriate to the scope, design and specification, including the practical arrangements for working at your property.
